Park Pass Pro Tip: Disney Bus Transportation

When leaving your resort in the morning and planning to take a bus to the parks, you can view estimated bus arrival times using the My Disney Experience app. Here’s how:

1. Open the My Disney Experience app
2. Tap the menu icon (☰  three horizontal lines)
3. Scroll down and select "Hotel Reservations"
4. Find your resort hotel reservation and tap on it
5. Tap on "See Bus Times"

Please note: these times are approximate. Buses can arrive — and leave — earlier than listed. We recommend arriving at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the expected time.

When returning to your resort at the end of the day, exit the park through the main entrance. There will be a board displaying which bus bay corresponds to your resort.

Buses continue to run for at least one hour after park closing, so you’ll still have time even if you’re leaving a little later.

Recommendation

Toasted Ciabatta with Roasted Garlic-Butter and Parmesan Fonduta at Tony's Town Square Restaurant.  Make your reservation 15 minutes before the parade start time.  Check in for your reservation 15 minutes early and ask to be seated on the outdoor patio.  Tables outside on the patio are set up for groups of 2 or 4.

• New Airport Luggage Transfer Service is being Piloted at select Disney Resorts.  I have utilized this in the past, but it went away during COVID.  It is a great service where you take your luggage to a specific location at your Disney resort and check your luggage in for your flight.  Currently, this is only set-up to work for Southwest Flights utilizing MCO at select resorts.  I anticipate more resorts will join this by the end of 2025.

• On May 1st, Typhoon Lagoon reopens but Blizzard Beach will close for a short time period.  Because, starting May 21st, both Water Parks will be open for the summer.  And in 2025, you can visit a Water Park for FREE on your check-in day.  So, which will it be?  Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

• Disney H2O Glow After Hours Dates Announced for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.  During this 3 hour limited-capacity event, you will experience scrumptious snacks and lower wait times for select attractions.  May 23, May 31, June 6, June 13, June 20, June 27, July 1, July 8, JUly 15, July 22, July 29, Aug 5, Aug 13, Aug 18, Aug 25, Aug 31, Sept 6, Sept 13

• There is a new baby Giraffee on the Animal Kingdom Safari.  His name is Tucker.

• EPCOT International Festival of the Arts comes to an end this week as the park prepares for EPCOT Internation Flower & Garden Festival which will run from March 5 to June 2, 2025.

• Muppet Vision 3D will be closing at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World on June 7th and reimagined.  When completed, you will walk through the streets of Monstropolis and the main attraction will be a thrilling roller coaster ride through the Monsters, Inc. door vault.
